The Efficient Mac - III

We're not brand ambassadors of Apple, neither is Apple sponsoring our posts for the last two days (or even today's). We covered the distinction between efficiency and hard work, and cohesiveness as the basic essence of efficiency.

Do the competitors of Mac don't know that? If we are talking about it, then these ginormous companies obviously know this for a fact. They aren't stupid! Then why is it that even after 15 years, the competitors aren't able to catch up with the Macbook's design?

These competitors are working pretty hard. And, you don't have to believe me. If you check the components in these laptops - the Processors, RAM, GPUs, Hard Drives, cooling systems - all of them (individually) is better than that of the ones in the Macbook. However, these components don't talk to each other.

It is for all practical reasons, and for saleability - with ever-increasing demand, these companies are able to make the buck - so when there's profit, they don't have to go the extra mile. This attitude is perhaps the reason that holds them back.

What Apple did, on the other hand, is that they ensured that the entire product is not about assembling the multiple pieces together but rather look at the whole product as one.

It's not about great dancer coming together on stage. It's about one choreographer who brings together good dancers into one performance.
