In our previous post we saw, pausing oneself from acting in the moment of craving offers a chance to introspectively identify the nature of the craving. By doing so, we have a choice to act of not to act.
In this moment, when we choose to pause, slow down and simply observe and not act (or react), there is a moment of slowness. In this moment there is no suppression of the craving, no bias or opinion about ourselves or our craving, no judgement, simply action. An action that is responding to the situation (and not reacting).
Being with that moment of acting (or not acting) is taking a pause to reflect, look within and choose our act.
