Failure, Integrity and Intent

Writer's picture: ThirteenThirteen

It's been a year today since we made the THIRTEEN platform live. Every day (six days a week) we've been posting blogs about personal experiences, stories, memories, thoughts, catharsis and just about everything that aligns with the idea of daily writing. For over six months now, we've also been releasing a weekly podcast as well. The whole experience and the journey so far has been interesting with its ups and downs - not necessarily rewarding though.

In the context of measuring what we've achieved so far, it all can be termed as a failure, as we're still off and far away from our vision. But if we see this as a journey, then we're on the path. It only takes a degree of integrity and commitment to stay aligned.

Therefore, we can say that a failure while maintaining integrity is not really a failure of the self, but an expected or anticipated outcome. The expected or anticipated can be worked upon. But if we lose integrity, it will be the failure of our intent. Intent is where our essence lies.

Creation of a desired life is an ambition, and yet we succumb to the fast paced life. In this time and age, 13 is a blog that provides a two minutes everyday read on six week days and on Sunday a free planning tool towards designing your future week is available to download that acts as your own mindfulness guide.
