Failure: Emptying Failure

Writer: ThirteenThirteen

What is left when we start taking out everything that is called "success" by other people? Imagine you simply take off the racecourse context put around you by others and replace it with a park or a garden. Let's start emptying one by one and see what's left.

Imagine you simply take off the racecourse context put around you by others and replace it with a park or a garden.

Let's take out :

  • Every failed exam...

  • Every lost game, lost race, lost competition...

  • Every failed attempt to connect with people, failed relationship, failed communication...

  • Project failure, that lost opportunity, that failure to crack an important interview...

  • Money lost, time lost and the failure to recover both...

  • Failure to stick to that new effective diet plan, that powerful exercise regime, the yoga techniques that were not learnt...

  • Failure to understand art... in the way everyone wants you to understand...

  • That unread book and the one which was left incomplete...

  • Failure to write a book, write anything...

  • Those music lessons not done, that swimming not learned, that karate class unattended...

  • Failure to be a respectable citizen, to become a known person in the society or family, failed to become famous among friends/relatives...

What is left is You... An empty You.

Creation of a desired life is an ambition, and yet we succumb to the fast paced life. In this time and age, 13 is a blog that provides a two minutes everyday read on six week days and on Sunday a free planning tool towards designing your future week is available to download that acts as your own mindfulness guide.
