Creating Micro-Intent

A micro-intent is something that as the name suggests, an intent that is created for a shorter span of time - a day or for a specific event. For example, each morning right after I do my morning rituals - journaling, and sieving through my day's tasks and creating a to-do list, I create the intent for the day. It could be bringing deep-focussed attention to the key tasks for the day or maintaining a cool head through the day or being compassionate towards the people I meet.

These change each day. Does that mean that I get deviated each day from my greater purpose? No. All these are in some manner intertwined, interconnected to the larger cause that we all intend to be here for. It's not even for a good habit's sake that I do this micro-intent exercise nor from any moral standpoint. This act, I feel, just adds a bit of flavour to my otherwise routined life. There is no morality, no goodness, no meaning associated with this act. Although my acts may influence and affect people around me - the world outside, adding this into my daily act only makes my experience richer.

I'm just sharing this with no intent, whatsoever, to profess this idea. I'm sharing it simply to share my personal experience. If you find any value in this, you may choose to follow it. If you're doing something that is similar or is better than this or clubbed with this idea that can bring a positive shift, do share it with us and our audience.
