Birth of Buddha

Writer: ThirteenThirteen

Death of Siddhartha. The protected prince who grew up in a lavish lifestyle provided by his king father died. That was the death of the 'being' of Siddhartha, prince of the kingdom of Kapilavastu.

The prince when he grew up, one day asked his servant, Channa, to take him for a ride outside the palace. The life in the palace which was full of luxuries, happiness, security and ecstasy, wasn't the same outside its gates. On his ride, the Prince saw a man bent with age. The Prince had never seen an old man before. On inquiring, he came to know about getting old from Chaana. The Prince was very upset and went back to the Palace. After a few days, Siddhartha went out again. This time he saw a very sick man crying out of pain. After discovering sickness for the first time, Siddhartha was again annoyed and went back to Palace. The next time Siddhartha went out and he saw a dead body. That was the death of Siddhartha. That was the birth of Buddha.

...Siddhartha went out and he saw a dead body. That was the death of Siddhartha. That was the birth of Buddha.
