When we do not resist our own karma, there is silence within. It's not of accepting karma as fate but that of simply an acknowledgement of our past shaping us into who we are. That simple acknowledgement allows us to look at our own constructs of biases, judgements, apprehensions. In this space, we discover the blindspots through which we have been operating. Be it our arrogance or an overtly extra kindness. In this space, one may notice that what comes as their assertiveness as their power might actually be their insecurity or their kindness is rooted in their fear of failure!
Once these blindspots are seen, you no longer react but respond. You no longer need to resist your karma but simply acknowledge its presence, there is acceptance. Acknowledging or acceptance in this context should not be interpreted as acceptance of the situation but that of ourselves - the nature of our true self.
